Whoo... sorry I've been AWOL for the past little while, my mum came for a visit last Sunday and left on Thursday and then Friday my husband was off work and we had the whole family over for dinner for his birthday so I spent all day - shopping and making sandwiches and coleslaw and egg salad and apple crumble with custard - I have tons of leftovers But I felt like such a good little housewife - and everyone was so happy to see little Aidan and I felt like such a good mum

Today my husband flew to Birmingham with two of his friends to see the Aston Villa/Sunderland match and stay over night as a gift from his parents so I've been alone with Aidan all day and I'm soooooo bored!! I read all of the first book in the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency series which I enjoyed and I've played with Aidan a lot he's sleeping now. I love it when he looks at me like I'm his whole world because he is mine and I can't wait until I can tell him how much he has filled my heart since he came into my world, but I can because I know this time is so precious, he's grown so much already - I can't believe he'll be six months one month from now! Anyways, for now I just have to cuddle him and make him smile and laugh as much as possible. I never knew I could be so much in love, I feel completely fulfilled. If anyone is thinking of motherhood, I highly recommend it as long as you are willing to give all of yourself because you will get so much more than you could ever imagine in return.

I'm working on art bit by bit, between taking care of Aidan and my husband and all my housewife duties. It is a slow process for me and it's very hard because I have so many projects to finish and I constantly have new ideas and drawings popping into my head and I just want to sit for hours and get them all down!! I'm such a gemini like that! I thank you all for you patience and love. Without you I know I wouldn't be nearly as inspired! I can't believe I'm nearly at 200 watchers! I feel so lucky!
